We left Chicago in the early evening. Arrived in Dublin in the early morning. We were able to stay awake throughout the day and went to bed around 9 which prevented bad jet lag. Stayed in Dublin for 24 hours across the river from the Guinness Beer factory. Great area. Tons of shopping and eateries. Took Uber along the coast to have great seafood.
Day 3: We took a bus across country straight west to Galway. Adorable town! Cobblestone streets. Great food. Very characteristic of Ireland.
Day 4: bids straight south along the coast stopping at Cliff of Moher. Majestic! Must see! Staying overnight in Killarney. Shaun another gorgeous iconic Ireland town. Rode horse-drawn carriage ride through castle property.
Day 5: bus straight east to Waterford. Beautiful area but not much to see. Didn’t really care about Waterford Crystal.
Day 6: back to Dublin for 24 hours. Visited a bunch of gorgeous cathedrals and great shopping and little cozy bars.
