How did you travel?
As a family
Tell us why you traveled to this destination.
My personal bucket list and my daughter had been interested in Paris since she was young, also we could get a direct flight, and the airfare was reasonable. A change from beach and resort spring breaks too.

Give us all the details! Tell us where you went and what you did on your trip.
Day 1 & 2: We stayed at Hilton Opera Paris. We used Viator.com to book our tours. On our first two days we left open to shop and hit the local cafes as we knew we would be jet lagged.
Day 3: On our 3rd day we started more attractions. We dined on the Seine River and had a lunch boat cruise.

Day 4: The following day we went to the catacombs as well as did the tour.
Day 5 & 6: The next day was the Eiffel Tower Tuktuk rides and Arc De Triomphe and lots of shopping in Champs Elysees.
Day 7: We took another day to walk and shop in local areas. We had meals in all of the districts from 9th, 8th, 7th, 6th, and many more.

We booked a small group tour for English-speaking people at the Louvre, which was also amazing.
Day 8 & 9: The next day we visited Montmartre and had a booked reservation at Pink Mammas which was incredible and so fun for my teenagers and the fun pictures.
Day 10: We squeezed in more walks around the area and visited the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. The view at Printemps Hommes 9th floor rooftop restaurant is amazing, be sure to arrive in “smart wear” as they do not allow casual attire.

What was the highlight of your trip?
Everything – loved how we paced our trip, shopping, cafes, a few tourist spots and so much more. We really enjoyed staying in the 9th district, it was very central to all the places we wanted to visit. We also loved the jazz club and meeting up with our neighbors. The shopping experience and cafes, everything!!!
If you were to take this trip again, is there anything you would add or do differently?
For one of our Tuktuk rides – make sure you have cash, and you ask what the price will be prior to getting a ride. We were taken advantage of on the price, as the day previously was 30 euros. This individual charged us 90 Euros per person. So 30 versus 270 was excessive. We ended up only paying 90 euros total and still felt he earned more than deserved for the same distance.
